Abstract
|

|
|
The classical definition of visual field is: “that portion of space in which objects are visible at the same moment during steady fixation on the gaze in one direction.” Because the pattern of visual field defect can be highly localizing, visual field tests, which including confrontation test and perimetries, often provide very useful information. Any lesion on the afferent visual pathway from retina to occipital cortex can be induced visual filed defect, which have some characteristic features in accordance with the location of lesion.
